Today we had a lecture with Yan Preston on presentation and exhibition, getting us to start and think about how we would like present our own work with in the final end of year exhibition. With in Yan's own exhibition she showed a number of different ways the same body of work could have been displayed in order to catch peoples attention differently or to change the attention and focus of the viewer.
Liam also talked about the use of different paper types which are available in our in house print room or from other independent print houses. We talked about the qualities, advantages and disadvantages of using the different papers types, this got me thinking about what papers would really help show case my work. I'm really excited to start experimenting with paper types and seeing which ones really bring my work to life.
