Today we had a great workshop with Laura Burgess, we really worked as a team to create some beautiful studio still life shots. Creating a very interesting shoot using paper and glass plates: two things i would never think of using to sleek contemporary images.
Laura also gave a very incite in to her professional experience since she left our course at Huddersfield uni 3 years ago, she talked about not only the good times but also the hard times, which was very interesting as most workshop leaders just talk about the good things and light lights of their professional experiences, it was really great to hear about the industry in a much more realistic way.
